Pepper

Proof that big can also be gentle

Two cats sleep on Pepper's back. Actual cats. Actually asleep. And Pepper wouldn't dream of moving until they wake — because that's what gentle looks like when it's done properly.

The Real Pepper

A photograph of the real Pepper.

Pepper loves the beach and loves running after her ball. She lives in North Wales and is lucky enough to be on the beach nearly every day with her human. She also loves cats! She lives with two, and her favourite moment is having a snooze with at least one of them in her bed in the afternoon.

What Pepper teaches

The safest place in the world is beside someone gentle.

1

Gentle is a choice

Being gentle isn't about being small. It's about choosing softness when you don't have to — every single time.

2

Make room for others

Even cats. Especially cats. There is always room on Pepper's back for someone who needs a warm, safe spot.

3

Steady as you go

Calm is contagious. When Pepper is steady, everyone around her feels a little steadier too.

Ask the cats: the safest place in the world is beside someone gentle.
